Some updated pics...

We have had a busy busy August and I can't believe it's already mid September! Time flys with a 22 month old, growing business, packed social life and second baby on the way! :) We spent 10 days in Minnesota with family in August. Olivia had the BEST time with her cousin Henry. They played very well, held hand sitting next to each other in the car and enjoyed their first experience at the State Fair.

July...

Olivia spent a month in Minnesota this summer with my family. She had the best time, visiting cousins, laughing and singing with her aunties and uncles and playing with GiGi Barbara a lot! My mom took her to MN after a visit to Texas and then I went up two weeks later and then stayed for two weeks with her. She absolutely fell in love with her cousin Henry, she calls him Henry boy. They would run to each other and hug after naps, they shared (pretty well for one year olds) and held hand sitting next to each other in their car seats. It was very sweet and such a nice trip. Here are a few pics and videos from the trip. I'll try to post more soon. Sorry, I haven't been great about posting, we only have one computer and David has it most the time working so I will try to get better! :)

Happy Memorial Day...

We got to spend Sunday at our good friend's lake house and stay over night for Memorial Day. We had such a wonderful time, we played outside, laid in the hammock, took a couple boat rides, and of course, what is time at the lake without riding a jet ski. It was Olivia's second time and now she's even more in love. :) Hope you all had a great time celebrating Memorial Day. We are very grateful to our military and service men and women for all they've done for this country. Freedom isn't free!

More of May...

We have had some beautiful rainy days here in Texas the last couple weeks, perfect for Olivia's rain boots i love so much! Her hair is getting longer, her vocabulary bigger and her energy level higher then ever. :) 18 months this month and nothing is slowing down. Our weeks are full with friends, the library, music time, church, the park, books, learning her letters, numbers, colors and animals sounds...Olivia is one smart little cookie. We are so blessed by her every day! If any family or friends have Skype and want to skype with Olivia, our user name is alishia.salmon, she loves seeing familiar faces on the computer.

Dallas Zoo...

Olivia and I joined our friends at the Dallas Zoo today. We had such an amazing time. We started off in the Giants of Africa area with all the big animals, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and gorillas. She had so much fun saying "HI" to each animal and making their respected noise at them (video below of the lion's den). We then rode the monorail that takes you on a tour around the zoo above all the animals. Finally we capped off the day with a popsicle and a ride on the carousel. Olivia had such a wonderful time and then had a great nap in the late afternoon. What a Wednesday!
