Dallas Zoo...

Great Grandma Joyce bought Olivia this cute stuffed elephant at the Dallas Zoo when we went a couple weeks ago. I clipped a big pink bow on it's ear and it fits in perfect in her nursery. :) Olivia loved sitting, standing and looking at everything the zoo has to offer...an eight month old. ha! We had a nice time until the torrential down pour ensued trapping us for about 30-40 minutes in a building over looking the Giants of Savanna elephant exhibit. At least we had something to look at. My cousins Natalie and Noelle ran around in the rain, watched the lions play fight and saw the giraffes as well. It was so fun having them here for a week, hopefully they'll come again next year!

4th of July weekend...kinda late...sorry...

We had such a fun 4th of July! Family came into town and we headed to Austin. We stayed at a cute boutique hotel, ate some great meals and saw a beautiful firework display over downtown Austin. We spent the day at Barton Springs, a natural spring they've made into a public swim area and finished the weekend with some fun shopping on South Congress a well known part of Austin. We love when family can visit and getting a quick trip to Austin is a huge added bonus!

Our little Liv...

Here are some recent pictures of our little Olivia. She has two cute teeth on the bottom you can see in the pic below. She is gnawing on graham crackers and baby rice cakes too. She pretty much loves anything we give her. :) She is tummy crawling now and sitting up great! We are just having a ball with this little one.

I love this face she gives me. ha!

Twibaby...

On June 30th Olivia waited in line with me and Danielle for the midnight showing of the newest Twilight movie, Eclipse. It was so fun! We set up a nice little area in line around 5:30pm and Olivia seemed to enjoy it. :) My mom picked her up around 8:30pm and I stayed for the big show....it was amazing! (I have since seen it three more times.) Ha!

Rash rash go away...

I feel bad I haven't blogged in a while, sorry. Olivia has been keeping me so busy. :) She is always up to new things. She had a fever a couple weeks back and it was followed up the next couple days by this rash. It was all over her head, neck and stomach. So sad! She was still all smiles though. Took her to the Dr and it eventually went away. Good as new now!. :)
