We had Olivia's first birthday party Saturday, November 6th! It was storybook themed and we used three popular childrens book for inspiration. All the kids food was from The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, the entryway and front room was Where the Wild Things are by Maurice Sendak also incorperated was Brown Bear Brown Bear by Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle. We had such a wonderful time, so many great friends came to celebrate our little Olivia. The cake and cupcakes by Sherri Bray were a hit and good friends of ours, who are actors at the Dallas Childrens Theater, performed a song and storytime for all the kids. Olivia couldn't take her eyes off them, she enjoyed it very much! I plan to post video of that as well. :)
